starielI've been giving some thought to midterms, since I've been enjoying them for the past 6 weeks. Some teachers obviously don't understand the meaning of "mid". I have a physics midterm tomorrow, which I'm pushing for a 4.0 on to match mine from the first test. :) If I get 4.0 on all the physics midterms (3) then I don't have to take the final because we get to drop 1 out of 4. That's what I'm aiming for.
Next Friday I have an O-Chem midterm. I'm not really sure what to do about that one. I already did really well on my first 2 of 3, and I get to drop one. Unfortunately the drop for that class can't be the final. Still, I'll need to know the material from next week's test on the final. I guess I'm going to try to do really really really well so that my drop is one of the first two grades. That's the best thing to do, because I think the grades are based on points and if the average on this test is high then my "really good" scores on the first two don't do much.
I'm happy to be in the 7th week and doing well in my classes, it makes me feel much better and way less stressed.
