This evening I had a lovely pre-birthday dinner with a couple of friends and then ran off to knit with one of them. While knitting we had a really interesting conversation about putting your writing out there in the world and then losing control of it - that the interpretation by others is a valid meaning even if it's not the meaning you originally intended.

And then I came home and read thisl.

Well, actually, I'm coming to Seattle a couple days before the b-day and then going to SOCK CAMP on my birthday, provided they email back and take my money. :) I know, I am a total dork, and I'm proud of it.
