I got my corset, and it is superfantabulous!

Now I have one question... Tomorrow I'm going to a bachelorette party, where we're going out to dinner (the restaurant, from the website, doesn't look 'nice') and then clubbing. When one of the party planners told me that the club has a dress code (no sneakers or jeans) I was a bit surprised, and called to clarify that it isn't some hoity-toity bar, but a dance club. Turns out it is just a dance club...

So here's the question: I was contemplating wearing my corset, as I really don't have club apparel. In fact I have never been to a club... Is it too trashy? Not formal enough? What in the world else could I wear? Right now I'm freaking hoping that my old roommate brings over my black stretchy kinda-nice pants like she promised, cuz I don't know if I even have any acceptable bottoms let alone a top.

AHHHHH!

The corset should be fine, though I don't know what it looks like. If you feel comfortable in it, it's not too trashy.

A lot of the dance clubs in Toronto have dress codes. If you wear any sort of dress pants or skirt, you should be fine. Khakis might be ok too. Just don't wear blue jeans, sweat pants, or sneakers. Dressy boots would be ok.

Do you have any cute skirts? I think a corset would look really cute with a skirt and boots (if you have any knee-high boots). I'm sure you'll be fine. It's not too bad. You should have asked about the dress code when you called because they'd probably tell you.
