This crazy ice cream shop - also on Newbury Street - has flavors with crazy names and a tiny shop where four people can barely stand comfortably but celebrities are pictured on the walls.

I don't know if the first time I went there was with Brit or if that was just one of the times. The ice cream is probably better than JP Licks, but the lack of a teacup and greater distance from the T stop means I've been there less.

As you might be able to tell, Boston is very big on ice cream. Kind of like Seattle and coffee. I heard from some unreliable source that Boston has the highest per capita ice cream consumption, but that may very well be false.

A specialty, local and non-chain ice cream shop just opened up the street and it is amazing. Seattle needs more ice cream. It's atrocious, the lack of ice cream here.

It was great back in the day when Marble Top was still on the ave... But yeah, other than that I can't say I ever went to any great non-chain ice cream shops in Seattle. There's a pretty decent one in Friday Harbor, though.

But who the hell goes to Friday Harbor? ;) Seriously, though- ice cream shops should be in every neighborhood.
