Fun in Seattle
Sep. 1st, 2008 01:25 pmYesterday was my first real day back in Seattle and I spent it napping to recover from my road trip-lag and going to Bumbershoot with a bunch of MI kids I went to school with. We wandered around a bit, saw a few minutes of These Arms Are Snakes and decided they weren't for us, and saw The Black Keys and Stone Temple Pilots. The STP show was amazing and I was really excited to get to see them for the first time.
Bumbershoot reminded me of how much I love Seattle - the number of freaky people walking around and the number of Tool and Alice In Chains shirts I saw... I am most definitely home. The sun came out for a bit too and the weather was pretty perfect - not too hot and not too cold.
And now I'm here and thinking about getting started with the job hunting, because I need a job and an apartment in Seattle before I can be here all the time and I really want to be here starting now. Starting yesterday.
