Sock puppets
Apr. 25th, 2008 12:07 amI was at sock camp last week, which was amazing and educational and loads of fun, but this is not my knitting blog.
Instead I just wanted to jot a quick thought that I had at the time and which has been popping up ever since.
One of the cooler parts of the week, in my opinion, was the making of sock puppets. I haven't done this since a very very long time ago - if ever. I have vague memories so I probably did it once.
I have always had grand ideas. The difference between when I was five and now is that as an adult I have the knowledge, skills, and coordination to better execute my grand ideas.
Which is why I made a sock puppet of Bret Michaels. With a bandana, feather hair, bright red lips, and eyeliner. It was awesome.
Now I have the first season of Rock of Love on my Netflix list.
