Hey MM, your wish is my command.

So, what should she have for dinner? That is a question worthy of contemplation and navel gazing for sure. First off, I can not even decide what I should have for dinner, let alone choose dinner for someone else.

Hmm... maybe I should suggest that [livejournal.com profile] prinnyc go read The Omnivore's Dilemma and then decide what to eat for dinner. I haven't read it yet, but it was recommended to me recently. As I am not an omnivore I don't know that it would give me any insight into what to eat for dinner, but maybe it will help her! Of course, by the time she finishes reading it with her busy schedule she may have starved to death, so perhaps that is not the best idea. Or, perhaps, since she only asked me what she should eat for dinner, she will still eat breakfast and lunch without my decision and then she will live.

Oh, forget it, go make chili.

:p

P.S. Now that you see I really am going to write about what you tell me, please give me some more suggestions.

1. For someone who is right handed, I have pretty good coordination in my left hand. I carry things in my left pocket (my iPod for one, and then do the controls with my left hand) and I carry messenger bags left handed as well. Occasionally I will 'forget' that I am right handed. Once in physics lab I started tracing rays with my left hand - and I didn't even notice! My lab partner commented that she didn't know I was left handed and I replied "I'm not!". The poor girl was quite confused til I realized that I was indeed tracing rays with the pencil in my left hand.

Well tonight I did it with the toaster oven. I was pulling the tray out and managed to bump my finger into the glass door (ouch!) and it wasn't until then that I realized that I was trying to take my taquitos out with my left hand. Maybe taking things out of a hot toaster oven is not the best time to experiment with handedness.

2. I watched Heathers tonight for the first time. I don't know how I managed to miss that one this long, but I finally watched it. And it was weird. Very weird. But BOY was Christian Slater a cute bad boy. (The smokers, it's always the smokers!) And with his earring...

3. Talk of weird movies turned to talk of weird songs, which made me think of Blame It On God, which is now stuck in my head. Speaking of songs that get stuck in my head... (nice transition, huh? I actually just typed socks instead of songs and had to fix it so I guess we know what *really* gets stuck in my head) after that experience with Sorrow over the weekend it was Evanescence Call Me When You're Sober for a while and what's next - who knows? I usually have some song or another stuck in my head, probably a result of listening to my iPod constantly. It is funny to think that the rest of the world is not hearing the same soundtrack that I am.

4. In that vein (wow, I am on a roll!) I had this brilliant idea a while ago which I may or may not have written about here - I think we should have bluetooth in our iPods so we can see what iPods are around us and what songs they are playing. Maybe I'm just nosy by wanting to know what everyone else is listening to, but I'll admit I've tried to surreptitiously look at the iPods of strangers on the T to figure out what they're listening to. Bluetooth would be so much easier! And then if you could send little IMs to people and say "Cool song, dude!" or something... It might be a good way to meet concert buddies!

Ok, maybe that is enough for tonight. Isn't there a name for a random category - oh yeah, potpourri! I was thinking "fruit salad" for some reason but it just didn't sound right. So anyway, ask me questions or perhaps you'll be stuck with eternal potpourri.
