Gosh DARNIT snow!
Feb. 12th, 2006 03:19 pmOk, so you guys have heard for months about how my microwave takes up nearly my entire kitchen counter and how I'm going to buy a microwave cart as soon as someone takes me to Target?
Well, no one has taken me to Target. But the microwave cart had free shipping the other day so I ordered it onine. Now it's in Massachusetts, but it has been delayed due to "adverse weather conditions" (that means snow) and they say now that the estimated delivery is Feb 16th to 20th. WHA?!? It's in the state already and it's going to take you until THURSDAY at the earliest to deliver it? It's supposed to be over 40 degrees on Wednesday, I'm sure the snow will be melted/ploughed/etc. by then. GRRR...
In other news, I am continually amazed by the way that radio waves can cause a temperature gradient spanning 100 degrees celcius in less than 4 centimeters. ( Or in a less scienc-y way... )
