Long day...
Nov. 20th, 2003 06:07 pmIt was sooo hard to get up this morning! (I blame it on my cold.)
I almost killed Zoey cuz I didn't know she was sleeping right next to my head and I almost rolled over on her!
There were a couple of really interesting presentations in my class today, one on two on paternity testing, two on GMOs, and one on bite marks. I have to give another one, and it's going to be about model organisms and why we use them. My first was about deCODE Genetics.
Then I had a lot of lab work, talked to Casey, returned my library book, and headed to my Sexuality in Scandinavia class where we talked about homosexuality. Very interesting, especially because that's what I plan to write my thesis on. We watched a movie about lesbians.
Then I went back to the lab, set up my overnights for my BAC (Bacterial Artificial Chromosome) DNA preps, and changed some of my special stocks. (Like special sauce, but flies.)
And now Robb and I are gonna get something to eat and chill.
