Another day in Seattle
Sep. 3rd, 2003 10:44 amOne of the grad students in the lab took up B's offer to help in San Diego, so I'm still in Seattle. I guess I had mixed feelings about the trip in the first place. It would have been nice to go, to get away for a bit, but I wouldn't have felt very comfortable. Now M gets to go instead, and she's never even seen California, so I'm happy she gets the chance.
Which leaves me here...
My dad called this morning and left me a message, something about his birthday by the Israeli calendar (his birthday by our calendar is a few days away) and how he's engaged. I never even knew there was a 'girlfriend' or whatever, so it's a bit surprising. Not that I actually care. Having a stepmother in another country that I may never meet won't affect my life too much.
