After getting off my first bus, which was late, just in time to miss my next bus and be forced to wait an hour, I met a man from Kenya. He got his undergrad degree from UW and then went to Florida to get his masters, in water purification or something of the sort involving analysis of groundwater. Very interesting. We talked about the school system in Kenya, Norway and how expensive it is (he lived in Oslo for 3 months), and the Peace Corps, which he encouraged me to join.
Then I got on my next bus to downtown, where I got off the bus and chatted with an old woman from Minnesota. She was very nice, and had just come from UW, where she was at some art and music festival that I had no idea was going on.
After she got on her bus, I saw another man, who also attended UW, who rides my morning bus (he comes from Woodinville, I ride from my apartment to the UW) and we had a conversation about intellectual property.
