I was having a conversation on MSN with my ex-roomie English major about the hot barista boy at one of the school cafes. Then we talked about how a barista boy would make a GREAT hero for a romance novel... Think of the analogies! Of course, we also have to fit in my line of work, genetics research on sperm...
So without further ado, an impromptu line she wrote for my romance novel:

Up oh-so-late... um early

Well I just got off the phone with Brandon. We talked for at least 4 hours tonight. It's nice to be able to catch up and talk to an old friend, and we sure have a lot to catch up on. Turns out he lives pretty close to me... strange! Also when I went to talk to Lisa yesterday, I mentioned that my power had gone out, and she said hers had too. Turns out she lives close to me too...
Anyway I really should go to bed cuz I'm supposed to meet Angela for lunch tomorrow except I forgot to call her tonight before it was really late, so I'll have to confirm when I get up in a few hours. Then I'm going to work at the lab, and then I'll meet Brandon and possibly his ex-girlfriend/roommate downtown to do something cool... My weekend is off to a good start already!

Today was an interesting day...
I was up until 5am talking to Brandon, then got a bit of sleep and went to meet Angela in Bellevue. We talked a bit, and then I went back to the lab and got some work done until Brandon called and I went downtown to meet him and Mina. Then we went to Minnie's and had dinner and sat around and talked for hours and hours until I finally hopped a bus home, which is where I am now and very ready for bed...
