I remember when we baked together! We both got drafted into making hundreds of treats to sell at the 'cooking for cataracts' charity fair and what with your cats being very territorial about your kitchen, because that's where you keep the tuna, (one of them scratched tuna into my arm when I tried to open a cupboard) we went to cook at my house. We made chocolate cookies, peanut butter cookies, cinnamon star shaped cookies, double iced, double chocolate cookies with ginger and white chocolate chunks. Those last cookies were the best ones so we made them in the shape of cats in the hope that they would appeal to your cats vanity and that they would let you back into your house that night.
Then we made many different sorts of pie: cherry, apple, peach, blackberry. Then crumbles, cakes and muffins. We used that one step kit from the back of the cupboard to make Christmas pudding muffins but some of them came out green so we fed them to the birds (no one likes seagulls). We ate a lot of baked goods that day and then got up really early to replace all that we'd eaten. The shop assistant looked at us strangley when we turned up at her till with a trolley full of biscuits. Two girls wearing badly made disguises who kept ducking every time someone new entered the shop, buying their own weight in economy brand biscuits, I guess it did look at bit strange. Anyway we iced them ourselves, which is almost like making them.
