Variety

Today was a long day after the weekend seemed very short!

This morning I called Yale and set up my travel arrangements. I was actually being a bit stupid. Last night I was thinking I could fly out of Seattle around 2pm and arrive before the 7pm dinner (not thinking about the 3 hour time difference) and then 5 minutes later planned to call them this morning because they're 3 hours ahead...

So yeah... I fly out at 6:30, but have to fly to an airport about an hour away from New Haven cuz there wasn't a flight from Seattle to the other one, which means I get to take a limo into New Haven.

I went to class, did some studying/homework, streaked bacterial plates for ~an hour, went by the lab and had some lunch, went to class some more, worked out at the IMA, tutored, and came home (finally!)

I got my written acceptance from Yale, along with my offer:
$25000/year
free tuition
free health care

It sounds pretty good to me!

And now I just had some bread cuz I was sooooo hungry but I'm trying to wait for Robb to have dinner. Ug.

Interview questions from [profile] mtvmike

If you could be a character on any television show (either the actress or the actual character), who would you be?

I would be Lana Lang on Smallville. I really like her character because:
1. She has morals
2. She's smart
3. She's pretty
4. She's popular (which I never was)
5. She has a horse

What is your favorite memory of a real American hero like me (Mike Roe), and why?

Definitely you singing Tom Jones in the station. OK, so most of the radio days are full of good memories, but Tom Jones has to be it!

If you were going lesbian, who would you want it to be with?

Maybe Maya, for old time's sake... But seriously I wouldn't go lesbian. Or maybe Linn, cuz she's actually lesbian, and we had a lot of fun together in Norway (in a platonic way!)

If you had to get rid of either all cats or all dogs, which would you eliminate?

Dogs, because I really like cats more. Not to say that I don't like dogs, because I do, but not as much as cats.

What are your top three priorities in life (i.e. family, morality, money, etc.)?

1. Morality
2. Success, happiness with my situation (in my own eyes, not necessarily the eyes of others)
3. Health

The rules of engagement:
1 - Leave a comment, saying you want to be interviewed.
2 - I will respond; I'll ask you five questions.
3 - You'll update your journal with my five questions, and your five answers.
4 - You'll include this explanation.
5 - You'll ask other people five questions when they want to be interviewed.

Now you can comment here instead of on the older entry!
